Childhood Cancer Project

Childhood Cancer Ireland is the national parent and survivor-led charity representing the voice of children and young people with cancer, survivors and their families.

The charity was established in 2014 to help ease the burden of diagnosis and treatment on children and their families by raising funds to provide practical and emotional supports.

Lions Clubs of Ireland have launched a partnership with Childhood Cancer Ireland to bring another Lions Clubs International Global cause to Ireland and support hundreds of families in our communities affected by childhood cancer.

Childhood Cancer Ireland also campaigns for better supports and services for families and survivors, as well as better treatments and outcomes for children and young people by ensuring that their views and experiences are embedded in policy and practice.

Each September, Childhood Cancer Ireland’s all-Ireland Light It Up Gold campaign creates awareness of childhood, adolescent and young adult cancer.

There are several excellent resources available in the members section of the website.
